Electro-Driven Processes

Electro-driven processes are based on direct applications of electric energy to drive the necessary processes by mechanisms such as electromigration, electrosorption, electro-oxidation, and intercalation. In our lab, we study electro-driven applications relying on:

  • Membranes, such as electrodialysis.
  • Porous Electrodes, such as electrosorption cells.
  • Both, such as electrolyzers and electrochemical ion pumps.
