General Guidelines:
- A recommendation from the Master’s degree supervisor is mandatory. If there is more than one supervisor, recommendations must be obtained from all supervisors.
- In the Departments of Life Sciences, Computer and Information Science, and the Faculty of Business & Management: in addition to the recommendations listed in item 1, a recommendation from the designated supervisor(s) is required.
- Two additional recommendations (excluding supervisors) from scholars at academic institutions holding a Ph.D.
- For the “direct track” (direct continuation from a Bachelor’s degree), three recommendations overall are required.
- Upon completion of registration, an email containing a link will be sent to the candidate. This link must be forwarded to the referees to add their recommendations online.
- Recommendations are confidential and must be submitted directly to the Kreitman School following the instructions.
Online Submission of Recommendations via the System:
- Upon completion of registration, the names of the referees and their correct email addresses must be entered in the candidate’s Application Portal.
- The candidate must send the link to the online recommendation form received by email (see item 5 above) to their referees.
- Referees will enter the system using their email address and ID number and complete the online form. If there is a mismatch between the email address entered into the system and the referees’ actual email addresses, the recommendation cannot be submitted.
- The recommendations will be sent directly to the Kreitman School.
