I Shall Put Spirit Within You: AI as a Bridge Between the Humanities and Exact Sciences

The course is designed to connect the world of technology and science with the big questions in the humanities and social sciences. It operates under the premise that artificial intelligence tools are themselves a fusion of both worlds—on one hand, mathematics and algorithms, and on the other, human language, culture, and history. The goal is not to turn you into philosophers, but to cultivate wise, educated professionals in engineering, science, and management who understand the broader context inherent in their work.

Thoughts on Humanity: A Different Perspective on Hope

As part of the course, a new concept or topic is selected each year, hosting leading Israeli lecturers from various disciplines who discuss the subject through the lens of their expertise. The goal is to provide a multidisciplinary perspective on a given theme and encourage cross-disciplinary thinking. The course invites students to adopt a nuanced position grounded in broad, multidisciplinary knowledge. This year's conceptual theme will be "Hope".
