BGU's Prisma Negev Committee
Co- Chaired by Joel Reinstein and Esteban Socolsky together with Prof. Miki Malul, Head of the President's Strategic Plan for the Negev.

This committee supports Prisma Negev, an exciting new center that encourages and supports BGU scholars, students, and departments to partner with local government, industry, civil society, innovation centers and the IDF, to enable every child and resident of the Negev to realize their full potential.
Using AI to improve the effectiveness of municipalities, supporting Bedouin teenagers to pursue entrepreneurship and university studies, and engaging IDF soldiers stationed in the Negev to engage with local communities to address challenges they face, are just a few of the projects Prisma Negev is leading. By strengthening the Negev's population, we reinforce the resilience of the region and the entire State of Israel.
