Roi Gazit

We study hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Our research focuses on direct
reprogramming of blood cells into HSCs, generation of a novel model for
leukemia, improving the treatment of multiple myeloma, understanding HSCs
as part of the immune system, and elucidating alternative splicing in normal
and malignant HSCs. The work includes molecular biology, advanced tissue
cultures, genetically engineered mice, and primary patients' samples.
