Ben-Gurion University is deeply saddened and mourns the passing of Sahar Baruch, of blessed memory

A member of the university community, a student at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, who was abducted from Kibbutz Be’eri during the attack on October 7 and murdered by the terrorists, the nephew of Dr. Rivka Manor from the Department of Life Sciences.

The funeral will take place today, Sunday, 11 Cheshvan 5786, November 2, 2025,
at 15:00, at the cemetery in Kibbutz Be’eri.

The funeral will be held in the presence of family and close friends only.
