Just before graduating from BGU, How do you keep your POST account?

Before completing your studies, please read the following information carefully

Important information

  1. Your Microsoft account will be closed. This means:
    • If you use OneDrive, you must back up and transfer all your data.
    • You will no longer have access to Microsoft 365 services or any other software linked to this account.
  2. Your university computing user account will be deleted,
    except for your POST mailbox, subject to the conditions below.

Want to keep your POST mailbox?

If you wish to keep your POST mailbox after graduation, you must complete the following steps:

  • Fill in the form at:
    https://tamrur.bgu.ac.il/wantpost
  • Complete registration for Two-Step Verification (2SV).
    Failure to complete 2SV will result in the account being locked.

POST mailbox – Terms of use

  • Mailbox storage is limited to 15 GB
  • Only Mailbox - No additional services will be available
  • Google Drive data must be backed up and transferred before graduation
  • Two-Step Verification (2SV) is mandatory, in accordance with the university’s Cyber Security Policy.

Instructions for Google Account Login with Two-Step Verification When SMS Is Not Received

When SMS is not received, login issues may arise. In this guide, we will detail the steps to take in such a case for Two-Step Verification (2SV). Two-Step Verification is an important tool for securing your Google account without the need to use your personal number or email address.

Download the Google Authenticator or Authy app from your device's app store

Install the app on your device, open it, and click on "Scan QR Code" at the bottom of the screen

Access your Google account settings through the browser after logging into the Post account

Select "Security" from the menu on the right side of the screen

Under the Security tab, scroll down to the "Signing in to Google" option and click on "Two-Step Verification" to start setting up the app and adding your account

At the bottom of the new page, click again on "Authenticator app" and follow the next steps displayed on the screen according to the progress stages shown on your mobile device

Upon completion of the verification, your Post user will appear in the app with a code that changes every 60 seconds, which you can use to perform the verification

If none of the above options resolved the issue
