Precision oncology
The lab explores the use of computational methods to improve the precision
of cancer medicine. The lab plays a leading role in the WIN international
consortium, which promotes precision oncology. We are using bioinformatics
and machine learning to improve the ability of clinicians to predict which
treatment will benefit which patients, based on tumor or blood biopsies. We
utilize existing data or collaborate with experimental labs in BGU, Israel, and
around the world. We use a wide variety of existing tools on this data, or invent
new tools as necessary. in regulating proliferation, aging, and death of normal
and malignant cells.
Laboratory location: Marcus Campus, Building 39, Room 113.
