Registration Requirements

Holders of a thesis-based Master’s degree from BGU, or an equivalent degree from another recognized institution, with strong academic achievement (including the thesis). Candidates are admitted for a probationary period of up to 12 months, after which they must submit a research proposal and pass a candidacy examination to obtain regular doctoral student status.

Finding an Advisor

The candidate must choose a potential Thesis Advisor from among the senior lecturers or professors before registration online, who will agree to supervise the candidate’s doctoral studies.

Detailed information on the various academicians is generally available online via the BGU homepage by checking their personal homepages linked to the departmental websites.
