About the Program

This unique MSc program is designed for students to gain a deep and diverse understanding and capability in fields related to the environment and natural resources, while also developing their mental flexibility, enabling them to employ methods, terms, and concepts from different areas of research and move between such areas.

Requirements for Application

The registration conditions are correct at this time and are subject to change depending on supply and demand. To secure your place in the program you wish to be admitted to at an early stage, we recommend that you register early.

  • A B.Sc. degree in either science or engineering from an accredited institution.

  • A TOEFL score of at least 85/120 or the equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required. The English proficiency requirement is waived for applicants who received their B.Sc. degree in a program taught in English.

  • Applicants are expected to connect via e-mail with one or more potential advisors with whom they would like to work on their thesis. Please visit the department website for a list of faculty.

    1. A certified copy of your diploma  
    2. Certified copies of your academic transcripts
    3. Curriculum Vitae
    4. Two letters of recommendation along with the reference form, written by academicians 
    5. Class rank (if available)
    6. Official copy of TOFEL examination score or IELTS examination score
    7. Student Housing Form
    8. A photocopy of the first page of your passport 
  3. The admission requirements and terms will comply with the AKIS's admission requirements and require the approval of the program's teaching committee.
