I'm a professor of business and marketing strategy at the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management and the Goldman Sonnenfeld School of Sustainability and Climate Change at Ben-Gurion University. I am the Head of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation study track at the Department of Management, where I teach innovation, entrepreneurship, and business strategy.
I have a PhD in Business Administration from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Before joining Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, I was a Marketing Science Institute visiting scholar and research fellow at the Center for Global Innovation, University of Southern California, and a visiting scholar at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK.
My research uses public policy changes as natural experiments to understand how consumers and firms actually behave. Policies often rebound or even backfire because policymakers miscalculate: they overlook or discount human behavior. My research provides evidence to correct for that. I study how consumers respond to shifts in environmental policy, with the goal of bridging theory across academic disciplines to help design policies that improve our lives.
