Elastic electron-rare-gas atom scattering
application of a one-electron model generated by a partition of 1/r12
A one-electron potential which has been extracted from the interelectronic repulsion operator in an ab initio manner is investigated with respect to its elastic scattering properties. An over-all agreement with experimental electron-rare-gas atom differential elastic scattering cross sections is indicated.
