Research interests: Pattern formation theory; dynamics of vegetation patterns in dryland, savanna, and tundra ecosystems; vegetation front dynamics; multilevel ecosystem response to climate change: spatial patterning, phenotypic changes, and community reassembly; interactions with other trophic levels.
