Call for proposals for collaborative online courses in English, for the 2026-7 and the 2027-8 academic years.
As part of the internationalization process at BGU, BGU International invites faculty members from all disciplines to propose Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses to be taught in English. The proposal may include a joint meeting (in Israel / abroad) of the students for a study tour, workshop, etc.
Preference will be given to the following courses:
- Multi-disciplinary courses
- Collaboration between BGU & an academic institution abroad (synchronous and asynchronous).
- Courses in which there are joint activities and interaction between BGU students and those abroad. The proposal may include joint on-campus activities.
- Undergraduate courses (although, postgrad courses may also be submitted).
The proposal should include the following information:
- Details of the BGU Faculty member and academic affiliation.
- Course details and target audience.
- Name of the collaborating institution, details of the partner and a letter of consent.
- The level of digitalization (recorded courses, interactive courses, shared activity on zoom, etc.)
- Estimated budget (detailed)
- In cases of planned joint activities "on-campus"- this should be detailed and budgeted separately
