The Student Affairs Committee addresses the non-academic issues that shape the experience of BGU’s diverse student body, with the aim of enhancing overall campus life and student satisfaction.
Its work focuses on improving students’ interactions with managerial staff, academic faculty, and university services, while fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion among students from all backgrounds.
At the same time, the committee seeks to strengthen students’ identification with BGU’s goals by promoting excellence in non-formal education and encouraging social awareness and active involvement in the Negev community.
The committee convene twice a year via Zoom and once more in person at the annual meeting of the Board of Governors in May, to which additional members who are not official committee members are invited.
