MITCHELL OELBAUM

MITCHELL OELBAUM

Following graduate school in 1991, Mitchell Oelbaum worked in a series of roles in private companies specializing in real estate ownership, commercial mortgage syndication and property management. Between 2004 and 2012 he worked as a retail advisor at both e3m Investments Inc. and Nesbitt Burns. He is currently the President of Vector Financial, where he oversees the company’s loan portfolio and serves as a member of the credit committee.

 

Mitch has supported various charitable organizations over the years, including the United Jewish Appeal Federation of Toronto. He is currently National President of Ben-Gurion University Canada and has been a member of the Board of Governors since 2013. Mitch follows in the footsteps of his grandparents and parents in supporting BGU: His father, Ronald Oelbaum z’l, served as the president of both the Toronto Chapter and National Board of Directors. His mother Annette is a member of the present-day National Board and Board of Governors. Mitchell and his wife Naomi, also a board member, have three children and live in Toronto.
