About the Center
At the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research (BIDR) within the School for Sustainability and Climate Change framework, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev established the "Moshe Mirilashvili Center for Food Security in the Desert" to enhance water and food security in arid and semi-arid areas.
The center aims to promote water and food security research in light of the global climate changes and fellowships for students whose research focuses on finding solutions for water and agricultural problems.

Watergen
Watergen has devoted its innovative technology towards solving the world's water crisis under the leadership of its president, Dr. Michael Mirilashvili. Watergen provides game-changing water from air solution based on its proprietary patented GENius technology that uses humidity in the air to create clean and fresh drinking water for people everywhere.
