Pathological mineralization and biomaterials

Welcome to the Vidavsky Research Group at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Our team studies mineral formation in systems related to pathological and physiological processes and the interactions between these minerals and their biological environment.

Our research

combines chemical engineering, materials science, and biomedical engineering approaches, using advanced imaging techniques and chemical characterization methods to understand biomineralization processes across multiple scales.
