Analytic formulae for the refractive indices and the propagation angles in biaxial and gyrotropic media
An exact analytic solution is found to the dispersion equation in optically biaxial and gyrotropic structures. Explicitly simple expressions are derived for the refractive indices and the propagation directions of the optical eigenwaves.
