About
The research I lead is focused on two main directions that branch into several exciting and novel drug development projects: Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology. The field of Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry combines design and synthesis (structure-activity relationship), drug delivery approaches (pro-drugs), targeting and mechanistic studies, and bio-analytical studies. The work centers on interrelationships between chemistry and biological activities, including the evaluation of different disease models. The field of pharmacology combines ?anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory studies?, pharmacological evaluation of biomedically important bioactive compounds, towards drug discovery, including collaboration with AI and machine learning team.The University bears no responsibility for the content displayed on this page or on any other faculty members’ pages.
