About
My research focuses on Public Mental Health at the interface of epidemiology, neuroscience, and clinical intervention science. I study the impact of stress and trauma on mental-health outcomes across the lifespan, combining population-based datasets with neurobiological and psychophysiological measures and advanced causal and statistical methodologies. In addition, I conduct clinical trials of scalable, massed psychological interventions that can be embedded within routine health-care settings. By linking mechanistic insights with
implementation-oriented research, my work seeks to improve access to effective mental-health care and to reduce the population-level burden of trauma- and stress-related disorders.
