About
I am a zoologist and molecular biologist studying how animals respond to injury and regenerate lost tissues. My scientific journey began in ecology, inspired by the beauty of underwater life. Early in my career, I became fascinated by the remarkable regenerative abilities of ascidians, which drew me into molecular and developmental biology.
