Annual Reports

The Center manages a diverse portfolio of research projects, opportunities for graduate students and community-empowering services. Our current activities include:

  • Combining AI and Machine Learning in innovation in women’s health 
  • CBI-ART: Combining Cognitive Behavioral Techniques with Art Therapy to manage chronic illness and promote positive mental health.
  • Trauma Assessment: Developing new ways of understanding trauma and how it plays out in women’s lives over the life cycle.
  • Maternal Health: Studies on postpartum depression and traumatic birth experiences as they are expressed in the post-partum period.
  • Family Dynamics:  new curricula on helping parents cope with the current on-going trauma in Israel and adapted for professionals who work with parents.

  • Mom to Mom (Em le Em): Peer support for mothers, including dedicated programs for the Bedouin community.
  • Isha Be-Shela: A specialized counseling service for women in the Negev.
  • Positive Parenting: Programs designed to strengthen family bonds and body image.
  • Rights & Advocacy: Working with the National Insurance Institute (Bituach-Leumi) to make women's needs "transparent and apparent."

New Methods in Feminist Treatment (2023) – Edited by Dr. Merav Rabinovich and Prof. Julie Cwikel, this book explores the evolution of feminist therapy in Israel and globally. An English translation is currently in progress, scheduled for release in 2026.
