Group intervention with new mothers
Since 2009, we have been running an open group, every Wednesday morning to allow new mothers to come with their infants to meet with our professional staff and network between themselves.
This group, which lasts for three hours, is divided between a didactic presentation given by a health care professional on a topic relevant to new motherhood (e.g. nutrition, dental health, returning to work, breastfeeding, yoga for babies, reading to babies and toddlers, vaccinations) and an open group where concerns and issues about motherhood and infant care can be raised in a supportive atmosphere.
Some mothers choose only to come to the group, others prefer only a volunteer and some mothers take advantage of both types of support.
The meetings will be held in Zoom.
