  • Prof. Oren Yiftachel and MA planning students and the planning departments of Beersheba and Tel-Aviv City Councils, "The Just City: developing a social impact assessment procedure and applying it to several israeli cities – application to Beersheba and Tel-Aviv". Product, paper by Mandelbaum and Yiftachel
  • Prof. Oren Yiftachel, Neria Greniman and Atwa abu-Frih with the Regional Council for Unrecognized Bedouin Village, The Planning of Bedouin Settlement. Product – alternative, community based plans for Bedouin villages. These villages have so far lacked any planning or infrastructure.
  • Prof. Erez Tzfadia, Sapir College and Prof. Oren Yiftachel – Urban Displacement in Israeli cities – a study of threats to right to the city to six communities in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and Beersheba
  • Dust storms and human health in the northern Negev – the project provide new information from real-time measurements on air quality and exposure risk in indoor and outdoor environments in a semi-arid region that is subjected to frequent dust events.
  • Dust control in anthropogenic soils - development of materials and methods to reduce dust emission from human-disturbed soils (unpaved roads, agricultural areas) in order to reduce soil loss and air pollution.

Web-based public participation for defining a creative vision for the Israel 100 Strategic Plan:
