Marine Life and Oceanography of the Eastern Mediterranean:
An International Joint Summer Program with Ben-Gurion University and IOLR
This unique and dynamic summer course will focus:
Interdisciplinary examination of the Eastern Mediterranean as a distinctive marine system, integrating physical, geological, chemical, and biological frameworks.
Coupled analysis of basin evolution, water-column processes, and ecosystem dynamics across coastal, pelagic, and deep-sea domains.
Critical appraisal of contemporary research and monitoring methodologies for evaluating climate-driven warming and biological invasions in the region.
Application Details:
The course is designed mainly for senior-year undergraduate students and above, majoring in Natural Sciences or Engineering.

Includes: 4-credit BGU course, health insurance, transportation, accommodation, and a world-renowned hands-on academic experience.
Accommodations will be coordinated near each research site, offering a comfortable hostel-style experience.
