The Welcome Center for International Students & Researchers sits at the heart of Ben-Gurion University's main campus in Beer-Sheva. The Center is a hub for international researchers, students, employees, and accompanying family members.

We offer a welcoming environment for students to attend events in English, celebrate holidays together, and consult with our staff on a range of different topics - including guidance on obtaining a visa, housing advice, and more.

Visas

We provide information and guidance in the process of obtaining visas and visa extensions for the BGU International community, including work permits & work visas for international employees, and visas for accompanying family members.

Health Insurance

We guide students, researchers, and employees in choosing the right health insurance policy for them. This includes renewing health insurance and ensuring that you have the right information ready when you need to apply for your visa or visa renewal.

Social Events

We organize orientation events for new international students and researchers at the start of each semester and plan social activities throughout the year. For updated schedules and information on events, please follow us on Instagram!

The university's Psychological Counseling Services provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapy, including individual and group psychotherapy.

The unit's staff specializes in dealing with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, both directly and indirectly.

The Psychological Counseling Services may refer individuals to external treatment or assist them in accessing community-based care.
