Liron David Lab
Shir Danieli Festinger
PhD
The project: Mechanistic elucidation of NINJ-1 activation in lytic cell death, using molecular and biochemical methods.
Hobbies: Painting, music, baking
Favorite TV show: Friends
I would be a stem cell
I chose this lab because it's perfect!
Dor Eliyahu
MSc
The project: My research focuses on the CBM complex structure, specifically investigating the interaction between CARMA1 and BCL10, and the functional consequences of various CARMA1 mutations.
Hobbies: I enjoy going to the beach, freediving, climbing, and doing yoga.
Favorite TV show: "Hatunamy" and "michel"
The amazing and fun people, coupled with the opportunity to learn new things daily, and the exciting research, are why I chose this lab.
Yinon Nagar
MSc
The Project: Research on the ninjurin two protein structure and mechanism in the immune system.
My Favorite Show: Arrested development, Daredevil.
I choose to be in this lab because the interesting research and most importantly that the lab staff and especially liron are the most nice people you could meet.
Sean Zelmanoff
Lab Manager | BSc | Biomedical Engineering
The Project: Investigating the role of mitochondrial protein in signaling pathways in immunity.
Hobbies: Playing basketball, training at the gym, and working under Dr. Liron David.
Favorite TV show: Breaking Bad
I chose this lab because the field of research is fascinating to me, and in addition, the knowledge that Dr. Liron David has allows me to develop in the field of molecular biology.

Project Student
The Project: My research project focuses on decoding the structure of CARD19 and understanding its impact on the CBM, BCL10, and TAK1/NF-κB pathways. The goal is to gain insights into biological processes and diseases related to these pathways as a result of CARD19's influence.
Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, binge-watching shows, and sleeping.
If I were a protein, I would be Rubisco or DNA polymerase.
The reason I chose to work in this lab because it is one of the few in the department connected to immunology, and especially due to Liron, who offers the opportunity to learn and build knowledge from scratch when necessary, with patience and care, using a wide range of biological techniques
Michal Gilad
Project Student
The Project: My research focuses on the structural elucidation of the CBM-TRAF6 complex.
Hobbies: Cross Stitching.
If I were a protein I would be rubiso.
I chose this lab because the research subjects intreats me and the work is
