- I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Community Health Sciences in the Faculty of Health Sciences of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. I joined BGU in 2021.
- I received my PhD in Statistics from the Department of Statistics and Operations Research in Tel-Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Yoav Benjamini. It investigated the control of statistical error in large-scale genomic data analysis.
- I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Genome Technology Center of Stanford University, USA, and at the Computational Systems Biology Lab of Prof. Eytan Domany in the Weizmann Institute, Israel.
- My research is focused on the development and design of statistical methodologies for large-scale analysis of biomedical records. I combine advanced statistical methodologies and AI-based algorithms to study various contemporary questions related to risk, treatment, diagnosis, and prediction of disease. Read more
- I head our newly launched graduate program in Epidemiology – Medical Data Science (M.Med.Sc) . The program offers to train students to lead the medical research of tomorrow using advanced techniques in statistics and data science for analyzing large medical databases. Read more
