Current Opportunities: Part-Time Remote Database Developer
At DesertData, we are dedicated to building a comprehensive, accessible database that empowers scholars, scientists, policymakers, and stakeholders. We are currently seeking talented individuals with a background in computer science, coding, or related fields for part-time, remote opportunities in database development.

- Data Collection and Harmonization
- Database Building and Management
Relevant Backgrounds:
- Data Science/Analytics
- Environmental Sciences
- Geography/Mapping
- Computer Science/Information Technology
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, working with large datasets, and statistical analysis
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, R)
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms (a plus)
- Familiarity with environmental data collection methods (a plus)
- GIS skills and familiarity with geospatial data (a plus)
- Database management experience (a plus)
Role Details:
- This is a part-time remote opportunity with options to continue based on project needs.
