Tenure track positions in solar /Renewable energy

Position Description

The Ben-Gurion National Solar Energy Center is currently expanding. We are seeking talented researchers to join our team as faculty members in the field of solar and renewable energy. The Solar Energy Center at BGU is committed to addressing the challenges of solar energy in its broadest sense, including (but not limited to) harvesting solar energy in different ways, efficient storage of harvested energy, integrating solar energy technologies with other energy sources, and​ optimizing solar electricity production despite its intermittent nature.

The Ben-Gurion National Solar Energy Center is part of the SIDEER in the Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research. Interdisciplinary research and collaborations between the institutes and fields of research are highly encouraged and integral to our mission, and this presents an exceptionally stimulating environment for innovative multidisciplinary endeavors. Our faculty members advise students and teach courses in our M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Environmental Physics and Solar Energy and undergraduate courses in relevant degree programs at BGU. We are pleased to announce that several positions are currently open. Qualifications

We welcome applications from candidates with a background in the exact and engineering sciences with a multidisciplinary orientation interested in these research topics using experimental and/or theoretical research tools. We also encourage applications from candidates with other backgrounds with a passion for renewable energy and a desire to impact the environment positively. Successful candidates should have post- doctoral experience and an excellent academic record.
