About the program

Prisma Negev Center and Tech7 operate Teenovation - an entrepreneurship program that gives high school students from Be'er Sheva the stage and tools to solve the challenges of the Negev.

Starting next school year, we will launch our annual program, which connects the youth of Beersheba directly to the worlds of innovation. Our partners at Tech7 bring with them vast experience in the worlds of high-tech and entrepreneurship, and we at the university bring our expertise in developing personal resilience and our connection to academia. The shared goal? To make high school students feel that university is not a distant or scary place, but a home where they can grow and dream big.

How does it actually work?

Participants learn field work. The program includes:

Weekly workshops: Learn how to think like entrepreneurs and how to build an idea from scratch.
Teamwork: Working together to find creative solutions to real problems we have in the community.
Mentoring: Students and experts from the university and industry guide the youth step by step.
Going out into the field: tours of innovation centers and meetings with people from the industry.
Closing event: Participants will stand on stage and present their projects!

What do we want to achieve?

We want to see real impact, both now and in the future.

The goals we have set for ourselves are:

Active projects and initiatives submitted by youth.
Significantly improve the creative and entrepreneurial thinking of participants.
Make high school graduates feel that academia is part of their future.
That the best ventures born in the program will take on a life of their own and become real startups or projects in collaboration with entities from the region.
