The deposit process is conducted through the Faculty Graduate Studies Coordinator or the Kreitman school of advanced graduate studies (Ph.D.) and not directly with the library.

The library should receive two files after they have been submitted to the faculty:

  1. Thesis File

The file must include:

  • Hebrew and English title pages
  • The title page must include: Thesis title, Author’s name, Supervisors’ names, Name of the university, faculty, and department, Submission date
  • The submitted file must not include scanned signatures (of the author, supervisors, committee approvals, etc.) or personal information.
  1. Deposit Form
  • The form must be completed accurately and scanned in good quality.
  • The form must be signed by the student and the supervisors. Forms without signatures and a date will be returned for correction.
  • Please indicate your preferred publication option: immediate publication or publication after an embargo period.

 Embargo Option

- An embargo (publication delay) of up to 6 years may be requested (for example, for patent registration or future publication of an article or book).

- Please note: if no preference is marked, the thesis will be published immediately.

If you need to extend the embargo period, please contact the Aranne Library directly by email library@bgu.ac.il

Please note that responsibility for submitting an extension request rest with the student.

After the thesis is deposited in the library, it will be published and made publicly accessible.
