About
a researcher in translational neurobiology and molecular neuroscience at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric and neurological disorders, with particular emphasis on mitochondrial dysfunction, neuroinflammation, autophagy, oxidative stress, and environmental factors such as climate change. She has extensive experience in animal models of bipolar disorder, advanced molecular biology techniques, metabolomics, immunology, and biomarker discovery. Dr. Damri has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals including Molecular Psychiatry, Translational Psychiatry, Scientific Reports, European Neuropsychopharmacology, and the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.
