About
PhD candidate in the Department of Gender Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, licensed clinical social worker specializing in mental health, and psychotherapist working in the fields of mental health, trauma, and gender identity. My work integrates clinical practice, qualitative research, and leadership within mental health services, with a particular interest in the intersections between lived experience, power relations, identity, and the therapeutic relationship.
My research focuses on decision-making processes and identity formation among transgender and gender-diverse youth, examining the experiences of young people, families, and professionals in the context of gender-affirming care. I am particularly interested in questions of agency, recognition, therapeutic relationships, gendered language, and the ethics of care in situations characterized by complexity and uncertainty.
In addition, I teach and supervise in the fields of psychotherapy, mental health, and gender-sensitive therapeutic practice. I believe in the transformative potential of human connection and the therapeutic space to foster movement, meaning, and hope, even in complex life circumstances.
