Dr. Merav Malcman is a lecturer and Head of Information Systems and Data in the Faculty of Management and Economics at Ruppin Academic Center. She holds five academic degrees spanning finance, information systems, operations research, law, and behavioral economics, and teaches courses in technology, finance, data science, and business analytics.
Her research focuses on behavioral economics, decision-making, and consumer behavior, with particular expertise in field experiments and the analysis of large-scale data. Her research examines economic and consumer decision-making in real-world settings.
Alongside her academic career, Dr. Malcman has extensive industry experience, including serving as a director on the boards of several companies. She is also a licensed attorney and a member of the Israel Bar Association.
