About

I am a Senior Lecturer (tenured) in the Department of Economics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, specializing in economic history. My research focuses on historical development and the origins of economic growth, with an emphasis on institutions, technological change, and human capital.

My work examines how political institutions shape investment and how human capital responds to technological change. Current research studies land enclosures, credit markets, and their economic effects, including recent work on land titling, credit expansion, and bankruptcies ? now available on SSRN.
