Prof. Barak Chizi is a Senior General Manager and Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO) at KBC Group, where he is responsible for commercial data, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence across the group.
He holds an MSc and PhD dealing with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Tel Aviv University and is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at Ben?Gurion University of the Negev, where he is dealing with artificial intelligence and machine learning. Earlier in his career, Prof. Chizi served as a data specialist for the Israeli government and founded his own consulting firm, advising global organizations on advanced analytics and AI. In 2011, he was appointed Senior R&D Director and Senior Researcher at Deutsche Telekom. H? joined KBC Group in 2015, where he has since held senior leadership roles in big data, analytics, and AI, and today leads the group?s data and AI strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives and also member of the supervisory board of UBB bank.
