ד"ר נטלי מסיקה היא ארכאולוגית וסופרת, בעלת דוקטורט בארכאולוגיה מאוניברסיטת תל אביב. מחקרה מתמקד בניתוח עירוני-היסטורי של המרחב הים-תיכוני, תוך שילוב כלים של GIS, טיפולוגיה אדריכלית וחקר הזיכרון התרבותי. היא משמשת כחוקרת במעבדת אדם?חברה?סביבה באוניברסיטת בן-גוריון בנגב, ועוסקת בתהליכי עיצוב, שינוי ושימור של ערים היסטוריות, בדגש על באר שבע וסביבותיה. עבודתה משלבת בין מחקר אקדמי, תיעוד לשימור והיבטים של תרבות וזהות במרחב הבנוי. לצד פעילותה המחקרית פרסמה ספרי פרוזה העוסקים בהיסטוריה ובזיכרון.Publications
