FAQ’s
Do I need entrepreneurial experience to apply to LEADERS?
Not at all. Like most all Yazamut 360° programs, LEADERS is designed for students from every background and at all levels of experience, from those just starting their entrepreneurial journey to those already on their way to launching a company.
Should I apply to LEADERS if I want to work for someone else?
Absolutely. To succeed in tomorrow’s workplace, employees will need to adapt to new realities, reinvent their talents, and embrace innovative technologies. And all companies value workers with superb communication skills and the ability to build and lead a team. You’ll learn all these skills and more in LEADERS, and can apply them wherever you go.
Is LEADERS meant only for students in business or tech fields?
Definitely not. Our program participants span every department at BGU, from engineering and management to medicine, education, and psychology. We help students in every field learn to leverage their talent and education into professional success.
To apply to LEADERS, do I need an idea for a venture?
All you need to apply to LEADERS is a willingness to learn and work hard, and a desire to apply what you’ve learned out in the real world. We’ll help you to develop an idea for a venture as part of the program.
Will I be able to participate in LEADERS and still manage my other coursework?
We won’t lie: LEADERS is a serious commitment of time and energy. Fortunately, most participants feel that what they learn in LEADERS is worth every moment—and then some. We also help students develop skills in time-management, since life often demands that we do many things at once.
Is LEADERS free for accepted students?
Yes! The program is completely subsidized by our community of Yazamut 360° supporters, who recognize its potential to advance individuals, the Negev, and all of Israeli society.
