ד"ר מואב מעידי הוא עמית הוראה במחלקה להנדסה אזרחית וסביבתית באוניברסיטת בן?גוריון בנגב. הוא בוגר המכללה האקדמית להנדסה סמי שמעון בבאר שבע בהנדסת מבנים. את התואר השני הראשון (M.Sc.) השלים בהנדסה מכאנית באוניברסיטת תל אביב, ואת התואר השני השני (M.Eng.) בהנדסה אזרחית סיים בטכניון ? מכון טכנולוגי לישראל. בשנת 2020 השלים ד"ר מעידי תואר מוסמך שלישי (M.Sc.) בהנדסה סיסמית באוניברסיטת בן?גוריון בנגב, ולאחריו המשיך ללימודי דוקטורט במחלקה להנדסה אזרחית וסביבתית, אותם סיים באוקטובר 2025. תחומי המחקר שלו כוללים פיתוח מתודולוגיה מרובת?סקאלות לתכן סיסמי של מבנים לא?מחלידים, וכן בקרה פסיבית של מבנים קיימים תחת אירועי קיצון ופעולות חריגות.
