Political sociologist and economist. Professor Emeritus, founding chair of Sociology Dept. At Ben Gurion University. Israeli Sociology Society President (2020-2023). Fulbright fellow (1997-98), current visiting professor at Dartmouth College, taught also at UCLA and UC Berkeley. English books: Split Corporatism in Israel (1991), Politics and Violence in Israel/Palestine (2010) and Mo(ve)ments of Resistance (2014).
