Holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beersheba. Completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Soroka University Medical Center. Completed a residency in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Floor Surgery at Charite Hospital, University of Berlin, Germany. Graduate of the Mentoring Course in Medicine from the Israel Medical Association. Graduate of the Course for Directors of Medical Societies and Medical Innovation from the Israel Medical Association and the Hebrew University. Member of the Scientific Committee of the European Society of Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor.

Has extensive experience in leading and fulfilling international, national and organizational academic and administrative roles.

Co-author of nearly 200 peer-reviewed scientific articles published in medical journals.
