BGU’s 52nd place is a distinguished achievement, positioning the university as one of Israel’s leaders in entrepreneurship. Other Israeli universities on the list include the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Reichman University, Tel Aviv University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Bar-Ilan University. The strong presence of Israeli institutions reflects how Israel, even during a time of war, continues to uphold its reputation as the “Startup Nation.”

The ranking evaluates universities according to the number of graduates who became entrepreneurs, the startups they founded, and the venture capital funding those companies raised. Since venture capital investment is considered a crucial factor in startup success, these measures not only reflect academic excellence but also the institution’s real-world contribution to global innovation and economic growth.
