Studies in the Department of Computer Science provide students with tools for analytical thinking, knowledge and understanding of how computers work and are used, algorithms, computer architectures, systems and development, as well as practical experience in planning and building software systems. Besides basic programming skills, in the department you can learn to design algorithms and come up with ways to solve complex problems in different ways and creatively through multiplexed thinking and learning.
The curriculum includes theoretical and practical studies and consists of compulsory courses in computer science and mathematics and a variety of elective courses that will allow you to deepen your interest in the areas that interest you. In addition, during the program you will participate in practical experience in projects.

conducts multidisciplinary research on desert and dryland environments with the goal of promoting the sustainable use of the Negev and other deserts and drylands throughout the world. The BIDR’s three specialized centers also carry out both basic and applied research on agriculture, biotechnology, water, energy, and ecological challenges.
