Study at the Department
The Department of Nursing has been offering studies for a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.N.) and a Master’s degree in Nursing (M.A.) for many years.
The department’s philosophy is to promote quality care for every individual through structured training based on a holistic approach, viewing the person as a whole—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Nursing education is structured and includes the development of clinical judgment, knowledge updates, and research. High-quality care is provided with consideration of the biopsychosocial aspects of the patient, aiming to promote health at all stages of life, both in community settings and various healthcare facilities.

Study Programs
Nursing is a challenging profession that encompasses numerous areas of development, allowing nurses to choose, engage in, and grow within their chosen fields. Graduates of the Department of Nursing accompany individuals throughout the continuum of health and illness, playing an active role in health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, support, education, counseling, rehabilitation, and health maintenance.
The nursing profession is characterized by responsibility, reliability, professionalism, critical thinking, decision-making, empathy, and compassion.
The academic track for a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.N.) is a four-year program that combines theoretical instruction with clinical training in hospitals and ambulatory care settings.
The Master’s degree in Nursing (M.N.) is a two-year program that exposes students to clinical specialization and research.
