Our postdoctoral fellows hail from numerous countries around the globe. Our over 100 postdoctoral fellow alumni have gone on to prestigious positions in academia, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations. We support renowned scientists to teach intensive one–two-week courses at the BIDR as part of the Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies. We support international conferences focused on desertification, encouraging scholars, experts, and practitioners from around the world to convene and share their knowledge, experiences, and innovative approaches to combat desertification. We provide to postdoctoral researchers, enabling them to present their research at international conferences relevant to desertification, engage with peers, and contribute to global scientific discourse.
