Department of Desert Studies Research Fields
Our institute has about 18 laboratories. About half of them specialize in various aspects of agriculture and plant and algae biotechnology. The studies are combined, that is, basic research that focuses on understanding the mechanisms for plant growth and development under extreme conditions, alongside research with economic-applied aspects. The laboratories are equipped with advanced equipment and allow students to develop in the world of research and be prepared for both a career in academia and industry.
