Research fields

The MSc program in Materials Engineering aims to provide students with expertise and advanced knowledge in their selected field of specialization. MSc students carry out advanced research supervised by an expert faculty member. Students graduating with an MSc degree are qualified for senior R&D positions in industry and can continue towards PhD studies. In particular, MSc studies can be extended to PhD studies in a combined track such that the thesis exam serves also as the PhD candidacy exam. The MSc program is a two-year thesis (research) track program.
