My MA deals with the development of number processing in children.

My research focuses on two topics: the effect of schooling vs. aging on the development of automatic number processing, and the relationship of that development with mathematical abilities in school.

The paradigm I'm using to investigate those two questions is the Size Congruity Effect (SCE) paradigm, which can measure the amount of automatic processing of the irrelevant numeric dimension.
